Somerset Harp Festival, here we come! Our seventeen (!) show harps have been tuned, packed, and shipped on two pallets from Seattle, WA to Parsippany, NJ, and we'll be getting on a plane ourselves next week. We can't claim to be excited about New Jersey late July weather, but we are really looking forward to watching people fall in love with harps, answering questions about what we do, hearing the amazing presenters, listening to the harp tastings, and connecting with friends and colleagues we only see once a year.
We'll have an assortment of harps in different sizes, price ranges, and wood choices, including two of our newest model: the lightweight, 34-string FH34S. Or perhaps we can interest you in a stunning FH36S in rare, highly figured bubinga, a Serrana with a pickup in it, a double-strung FH26, our carbon fiber flight case for harps, or String Buttons you can try out if you'd like to get away from tying harper's knots. The festival runs July 18th-21st, and the exhibit hall is open the 19th-21st.
If you're not participating in the festival and the workshops but you live driving distance from Parsippany, this is a great opportunity for harp comparisons that is difficult to find anywhere else! You can purchase a $10 day pass to the exhibit hall, where you can try harps by a variety of different makers, talk to the makers themselves in many cases, and also attend the harp tastings to hear different makes and models of harp demonstrated by professional players. It's rare to find so many harps under one roof, and it's one of the highlights of the festival.

We hope to see you there!
